Chef‘s Profile

Barry was born in England and moved to Canada in 1985. Within Canada Barry has lived and worked in Vancouver, Toronto, Belleville, Winnipeg, Victoria and Prince George before moving to Prince Rupert.

Barry spent most of his childhood living near Oxford and completed his education in Culinary Arts at Banbury Technical College and School of Art. After college he moved to London to work at The Inn On The Park (Four Seasons) Hotel and transferred to the Vancouver Four Seasons Hotel in 1985.

Barry worked as Executive Chef for Fairmont Hotels and Resorts in Toronto, Winnipeg and Victoria before moving to Coast Hotels and Resorts in Prince George and then up to Prince Rupert to work at Chances. He and his wife Angela have enjoyed their move to Prince Rupert and take pleasure in becoming involved in the community.
